Congratulations!! I’m so sorry you had to deal with that horrible nausea and more. Always enjoy your writing (since the days of DBag Dating). I have an 18-month old daughter and expecting my second in April (also a boy!) so I’m looking forward to hearing more of how you navigate the addition to the family. I wish I enjoyed pregnancy more but the excruciating back pain I’ve had in both (that never resolved after giving birth) makes it challenging, and the waterworks from hormones don’t help either. Hoping the last trimester is kinder on you!

Hi Monia and thank you so much!! It's crazy that you've followed alongside since DD and I truly appreciate it. CONGRATS on all the bebes! You are a hero for doing back to back. Regarding pregnancy, I think we are in the MAJORITY of women who don't quite enjoy it as much as we're supposed to—and it's totally okay! Good luck and stay in touch!

Oh how I resonate!

I cannot stop wondering to myself whether to have another child, and lately I’ve felt so drawn to it. It’s probably because my daughter is nearing 3 and everything just seems so much smoother, and I tell myself I’m crazy to go through those first 3 years again, because my god, they’re hard. But mostly, I feel the same way as you’ve described. Life is so bloody short, it’s over in a blink, as hard as it all is, there’s also so much icky gooey delicious love there, and I want that. (I’m still a fence sitter, though leaning a little more forward).
